Somatic Experiencing (SE)

is a gentle, body-based therapy that considers trauma a physiological occurrence. We find that the energy of a traumatic event tends to get trapped or stuck in our tissues and movement patterns. This can lead to symptoms developing, and generally have implications on our thought patterns and mental wellness. The good news is that this trapped or stuck energy can be released in a kind and restorative manner. SE provides a balanced way of working with the nervous system that is based on numerous principles, including therapeutic resonance, attunement, and presence.

Occupational Therapy (OT)

is a rehabilitative health science aimed at increasing function and independence using the roles, tasks, and activities that are most meaningful to the person.

Sensory Integration (SI)

identifies patterns and needs of the nervous system and seeks to increase feelings of comfort, safety, and security by modulating and adjusting the environment and stimuli to increase internal capacity.

Qigong (Energy Practice)

is an ancient, evidence-based movement and meditation practice with numerous benefits including improved strength, mood, posture, alignment, cognition, and sleep.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

is a gentle touch technique that works directly with the fascia to help open channels and restore balance and rest. By centering our internal rhythm, we can optimize our contact with ourself.

Does this sound familiar…

“I have a hard time ever feeling safe…”

“I push people away…”

“Since the accident I haven’t been able to…”

“I have a hard time ever feeling grounded…”

“I’m continually caregiving and continually exhausted…”

“Closeness is difficult…”

“Since the attack I’m always on guard…”

“Feeling vulnerable doesn’t feel safe…”

“Things I want to enjoy are not enjoyable…”

“I feel like I’m getting less out of life than I can be…”

It’s an honor to serve you.
